Behind
the Lens.

Skyview London is a one-pilot studio. Every enquiry, flight, edit and delivery goes through the same person — so there's no handover, and no guesswork about who's turning up on the day.

How it started

The story

It started as a hobby during the pandemic — flying for fun, with no real plan behind it. Over time, that interest in flying grew into a deeper interest in aerial photography and videography, and I started actively seeking out places to fly in order to capture something worth capturing.

That's since gone further than London — I've taken the passion both nationally and internationally, capturing images and footage from all over the world.

What started as an interest in the view from above turned into a working studio — planning each flight around London's airspace restrictions, the specifics of the site itself, and the shot that's actually needed rather than the one that's easiest to get.

Today that covers real estate, landmarks, architecture, land surveys, sport, and the occasional wedding or proposal — across Greater London and beyond.

The fleet

3 aircraft
01

DJI Mini 4 Pro

Sub-250g and quiet. The right aircraft for tighter, more sensitive sites and locations where a lighter footprint matters.

02

DJI Avata 2

FPV. Used for dynamic, moving shots — flying through and around a space rather than observing it from a fixed distance.

03

DJI Mavic Air 2

The workhorse. 48MP stills and 4K UHD at 60fps for general coverage, orbits and wide-format landscape work.

Three aircraft means the flight is matched to the job — not the other way around.

Licensed to fly

CAA Registered

Operator ID & Flyer ID

Registered with the UK Civil Aviation Authority, which is a legal requirement for commercial drone operation — and something worth checking before you book any operator.

A2 Certificate of Competency

Closer, legally

The A2 CofC permits flight closer to people and built-up areas than the default rules allow. In practice, that means being able to work in dense parts of London where an uncertified operator couldn't fly at all.
